Job description
As the Profit Pioneer at myqubator, you will be a key member of the management team responsible for overseeing the investment activities of the incubator. Your primary role is to identify and evaluate investment opportunities, manage the investment portfolio, and ensure that the incubator achieves profitable returns while aligning with its overall vision. You will play a crucial part in shaping the incubator's investment strategy and fostering a thriving financial ecosystem for the startups.
Job responsibilities
1. Investment Strategy: Develop and implement the incubator's investment strategy, aligning it with the organization's vision and objectives for maximum profitability.
2. Deal Sourcing and Evaluation: Identify potential investment opportunities by conducting thorough market research, due diligence, and financial analysis of startup ventures.
3. Investment Portfolio Management: Monitor and manage the incubator's investment portfolio, track performance, and make strategic adjustments as needed.
4. Risk Assessment: Assess and mitigate investment risks, considering market trends, industry dynamics, and financial projections of startups.
5. Investor Relations: Collaborate with the Connection Catalyst to foster strong relationships with potential investors and secure funding for the incubator's startups.
6. Investment Panel Leadership: Lead and participate in the investment screening panel, providing expert insights and making informed decisions on potential investments.
7. Mentorship and Guidance: Provide mentorship and guidance to startups on financial matters, helping them develop robust business models and financial plans.
8. Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports on investment performance, presenting them to the management team and stakeholders.
9. The Profit Pioneer holds a permanent seat on the investment committee, which is responsible for screening and handpicking startups.
Job requirements
